EXERCISE: Practice Building a Whiteboard Story
In this exercise, you are going to practice taking CREATIVES ON CALL KEY DIFFERENTIATION content and translating it into a 3-minute whiteboard story.
1. 1st read through the COC Differentiation content below a couple of times.
2. Each time, think about how you can depict your story in both images and in words.
3. Begin creating at story board. Write out want you’ll make visual, and what talk track you’ll include.
4. Google some icons for the visual elements you want to represent your message, and add them to your storyboard.
5. Think about what marker colors you’ll add to make the whiteboard more interesting.
6. Practice, practice, and then practice again. Continue to tweak your story and your delivery.
7. Deliver your story to 2 of your teammates and ask for their feedback. What works and what could be tweaked?
8. Set up a time with your manager to do a final run through of your whiteboard.
9. Complete the “Certification” quizz, once you’ve completed your delivery to your manager.
